Aerotech Kalisz was established in 2000 only to be transformed into Plant 2 Pratt & Whitney Kalisz in January 2004. The facility embraces 9 manufacturing cells specializing in gearless parts. We see our future as a center of excellence for stators and shafts.
The Plant employs 421 direct production employees, 110 indirect production employees, quality inspectors and supervisors. The process side of the production is taken care of by 39 process planners while 20 mechanics ensure any machine failure is eliminated.
We are proud of quickly implementing new parts into production and perfect quality first time. Our PPM rate in 2007 was 3 808 (number of deviated pieces against one million produced), which is equivalent to less than 0.4% production volume.
